CHILDHOOD

The days of childhood are wonderful days of everybody's life. One can think whatever is possible. Children have crystal clear heart as they are not involved with harsh worldly affairs. Talking about study, I was not responsible for my homework. I was like queen who had to only act in either way, the rest of the family were accounted for, everything I needed. My father, who is a businessman, used to wake me up in the morning for school. I deliberately used to sleep as if it was their personal benefit in sending me school. My mother, being very kind, used to cuddle me in may bed in order to wake me for school. Once I woke, brushing, bathing ceremonies got started and i as usual began to think about number of ailments that I can account for. I never liked my school as it separates me from my comfort zone (home). I was very tricky because I always tried to name that disease for which there was no external symptom, so stomach ache was one of the favorite problems I selected. I remained in bed until my school van come. After that, the whole time was mine. Although my parents knew about me, but at that time, I was not aware of it.

Next experience of my wonderful days is how I  wanted to make may parents happy. One day my father was is distress and I asked him the reason. He told me that my mother was not well because of her backache. I decided to help my mother so I went into the kitchen in order to prepare something for her. I had seen my mother making tea many times, So I started the process, added water, milk, sugar and of course tea leaves. I was waiting for the tea. But I was shocked to see after ten minutes, that there was no change in the materials I had added. Patiently waiting for more about 1 hour, I went to my mother and told her about my problem. She at once got up and went to kitchen. After that, I saw my mother laughing heavily. She called my father and me and told that I had not switched on the gas. Although I was unable to make tea for my parents, I made them happy with my innocence.

Now, I have grown up and  finally got married, but those days I cannot forget throughout my life. Now, my son befools me. He does mischief which I did in my time. Sometimes, instead of scolding him, I just begin to smile thinking that only these days belong to him. After that, he will have to live for others. To sum up, I would like to say that childhood is the best stage in our life. It makes beautiful memories for whole life. Therefore, parents should give proper space to their kids to develop their childhood, an over strictness can hamper their growth as well as their happiness. Always think, ''We were also a child once''.

LIFE OF A SCIENCE STUDENT

The life of a science student is full of care, books and more books meet him everywhere, Poetry has no place in his world. The chirping of birds he has never heard. He strangely has no ears to hear what nature does say. He thinks only off marks night and days.

In his heart, there is no place of sentiments, He becomes a busy man of experiments. From a distance the book of chemistry shines, numericals of physics have stolen his smiles.
Math conjures up monstrous theorems supposedly easy biology is no less a conundrouw. yet we are in love with it for it challanges ignorance. It strives to bring in our life a healthy balance.

Cell

                                 STRUCTURE OF CELL
Cells is 1/96 to 1/36 cm. These cells could be seen only by microscope due to their small soxe. It has mainly three parts-

      1.  Cell membrance
      2.  Protoplasm
      3.  Nucleus

      1. Cell membrance- It is found all around the cell. There are              very holes in it.  Necessary materials enter through these                  holes and unnecessary things come out.

      2. Protoplasm- Inside the cell wall there lies clean and thick                fluid. It is called cytoplasm. This is the main ingredient                    which helps in livlihood and its destruction causes death.

      3. Nucleus- A very thick and spherical portion like an iota                    inside the cytoplasm, is called nucleus. The functions of the              cell are done by it.

      4. Centrosome- There is another spherical iota inside the                      protoplasm apart from nucleus which looks like a spherical              cutter. It is called centosome.

      5. Cytoplasm-Cell is the shape of the bag. Inside it lies thick                and white fluid. It is called cytoplasm. It is a main ingredient            of the live fluid.

                                     KINDS OF CELL

       1. Nervous cells
       2. Muscular cells
       3. Blood cells
       4. Epithelial cells
       5. Connective cells

SUDDHIKRIYA - TYPES,OBJECTIVES AND PHYSIOLOGICAL VALUES

                    TYPES OF CLEANSING PROCESSES

KAPALBHATI

Sit down in Padamasana. Put hands on the knee. Now breathe in (Purak) and breathe out (rechak) so rapidly as if an iron smith works with the bellow. This act should be practised very fast. Kumbhak is not practised in it and rechak is of much importance. Breathing out process is very fast one by one.

JALNETI-

Technique-
Take a lota having a nozzle with a capacity of 500 gm, water. The front portion of the nozzle should be so made that it can easily enter the nostrils. Put luke warm salted water in the lota. Water should be tolerably hot. Put as much salt in water as it put in pulses while cooking them. Sit in kagasana. Put the lota containing hot salt water on the palm. Put the nozzle in the nostril in which the swara is running and bend the head in the same direction as much as possible. As soon as it is done water will start falling down from the other nostril. Take out one lota each of hot salt water each from each nostril, turn by turn keep the mouth open while taking out water. Breathe in and out through the mouth. If even slightly breathing is done through nose during the process, restlessness will be there due to the going up of water.

Advantages-
The practice of jalaneti yields the following advantages-

1.  All the defects of brain and nose are removed, e.g. madness, boils, catarrah.
2. headache off all types, sleeplessness and excess of sleep are removed.

Out of which 84 are primary and 32 are found most useful for the human being our of 84. Asans are practised in the standing position e.g.- Tarasana,Trikonasana, Garudasana. Asana in sitting position are Uttampad Asana, pawanmukatasana etc.

Meditative Asanas- There are four selected Asans for meditation. There are Padamasana, Sidhasana, Swastikasana and sukhasana.

'THAT TIME OF YEAR THOU MAYST IN ME BEHOLD'

'THAT TIME OF YEAR THOU MAYST IN ME BEHOLD' is sonnet number 73 in the sonnet sequence of William Shakespeare. This is addressed to the poet's friend and patron. The poet is in a thoughtful and sad mood. He is influenced by the feelings of age, decay and death. Thoughts of approaching death make the poet sad. He imagines the time when he will become as bare as a ruined tree becomes after the end of spring. He thinks that this will increase his friend's love for him
The poet is very sad and depressed. He thinks constantly of his death. Thoughts of his coming death make him very sad. The poet sadly imagines the time when he will become as bare as a ruined tree becomes after the end of spring. A few yellow leaves hang upon its branches which tremble in the cold wintry wind. He then compares himself with the fading light of a day turning into a black night. He then imagines sadly that the heat of the fire of youth is getting reduced because the fire is burning itself out. Soon he will die
However, he hopes that this sight will increase his friend's love for him as he will soon die Shakespeare has created this mood. He was not so old when he wrote this sonnet. But he has made a very convincing portrait of himself. He is seen as a sad, unhappy, weak old man who remembers the happy days that are no more.

TO A SKYLARK

This is a famous poem by Shelley. Shelly hails the skylark, a bird of music and joy. Its music is sweet because it has had no unpleasant experiences. On the other hand man's life to have even half of sorrows. Man struggles, suffers and sheds tears throughout his life. The poet would like to have even half of the skylark's charm so that he may also sing joyfully and charm the whole world.

'To a skylark' is the best lyric of Shelley. It expresses Shelley's joy on hearing the song of the skylark. The song of the bird arouses certain thoughts and feelings in the poet. He feels that the skylark stands for poetic imagination. It is the poetic spirit in the form of a bird.
The skylark which has risen to the sky sings in a natural way. It is not a bird but a spirit of delight. It sings while it flies upwards and goes on flying while it sings. It flies in the golden light of the sunset like a spirit of delight which has just started its race of life It is not seen like the morning star in the daylight. But its presence can be felt by its sharp music.
It is known what the skylark is. The shower of music dropped by the skylark is better then rain drops fallen from the cloud. Its music spreads in the sky like the light of the moon covered with clouds. The skylark is more like a spirit than a bird. Shelley compares the skylark to a love-sick girl who consoles her love-sick heart by sweet music. The skylark is not seen like the glow-worm. The light of the glow-worm can be seen. In the same way the music of the skylark can also be heard. The skylark can be further compared to the rose that makes the wind heavy with its sweet smell. The songs of the skylark are sweeter than the songs of marriage and victory. The joy given by the songs of the skylark neither changes nor grows dull. The poet believes that the song of the skylark is superior to the human songs. Its song is better than the songs of love, marriage, victory or wine.
The poet wants to know what thoughts and object inspire the happy song of the skylark. He feels that its song arises out of the bird's ignorance of death and pain. The skylark has no worries. It knows love. But it does not know the over-satisfaction which accompanies the over-fulfilment of love. The skylark dreams of deeper things about death. Man is sad because he remembers his past and looks forward to the future. The happy skylark is quite free from the worries of the world.
Shelley is keen to learn the secret of the skylark's happiness. He feels that the song of the skylark is better than all knowledge found in books. He will feels highly inspired if he could get even half the happiness of the skylark. Then he too would produce music that will be heard by all the world.

BECAUSE I COULD NOT STOP FOR DEATH

This poem tells us about the meeting of the living with death. The lady poet accompanies death as his beloved and bride in the carriage. The carriage is nothing but a hearse. she accompanies him along with the hope of immortality. During the journey she leaves behind her childhood, her youth and her old age. she leaves behind everything of life.

In this poem the poetess tells us about her imaginative experience of death. She thinks over the meaning of death and goes deep into the mystery of death. The poetess personifies death as a courteous gentleman. Death meets her on the road of life . He takes her in his carriage for a ride. The poem describes this ride, and the feelings of the poetess during this ride. The ride is a symbol of man's last journey on the earth. The carriage is a symbol of the hearse.
The idea of death is treated without any of the emotions of fear, anxiety or pain. It is personified as a gentle friend who is talking the poetess on a carriage ride to eternity. Another passenger in the carriage is immortality . Thus we see life after death as an eternal journey.

PORPHYRIA'S LOVER

This poem shows  Browning's  great interest in abnormal psychology. The lover's act of killing Porphyria in order to prolong the moment of impassioned love is sudden, dramatic and macabre. we have an ironic portrayal of complex personality that is both repulsive and novel.

Porphyria's lover listened  to the noise of the storm outside and was in a very sad mood . At that very moment, his beloved stepped into his cottage. He felt very much surprised ; it must have required great courage on her part to have come out on such a stormy night. Porphyria closed the door. Then she knelt down to light the dying fire. soon the cottage was warm. Then she got up and took off her dripping cloak, shawl and hat, and her dirty gloves and laid them down . After that she stepped forward and sat by the side of her lover and lovingly addressed him . Her golden, long hair fell on her shoulders. Having failed to get any reply from him , she made her smooth white shoulder bare and placed his cheek on it , while her golden hair spread all over her shoulders. In low sweet voice she told him that she loved him dearly . But she had failed to challenge the authority of her guardians and hence she was helpless in giving herself to him for ever . But she added that on occasions the passion of love in her grew so violent that nothing could stop her from coming to him.

Porphyria's lover saw straight into her eyes and knew at once that she fully worshiped him. He was proud of her love for him. Her beauty and grace charmed him. In order to make her his own for ever he decided to release her from all barriers by strangulating her .Thus, taking her long hair, he made them into a string, wound them three times around her little bit throat and strangled her. Then he opened her lids and found her blue eyes laughing. Then he untightened the tresses from about her neck and her cheeks once more blushed bright beneath his burning kiss. He lifted up her head, but she was dead and hence it could not lift itself up. It dropped on his shoulder. It was a smiling, rosy little head and he was glad that her wish to die in his lap and be his for ever was fulfilled. The dead and the living sat together the whole night without moving for a moment. And God did not express His disapprovel of the lover's act.
